Abstract With the reduced availability of effective plant protection products, alternative control measures gain importance. Insect net covers are a promising tool in this regard, because they can reduce pest damage on crop by exclusion pests. However, as under practical conditions, most need to be removed several times during cycle manage weeds and apply fertilizers, complete pests is not always feasible. In addition, also have an impact natural enemies, microclimate, may cause direct due their tracking weight. Therefore, effects applications assessed accordingly, depending specific crops current paper, pests, yield, occurrence diseases Chinese cabbage, carrot, leek. Whereas Delia radicum , Phyllotreta spp . thrips was enhanced, aphids mining flies showed increased population build ups caused higher damages cover once had been able invade.
